The People Behind Every Repair

Our Team - Kuwait-Certified, Glass Mechanix Trained, 10,500+ Repairs Between Us

Professional windshield crack repair is a precision skill. It requires technical knowledge of glass chemistry, UV polymer science, optical measurement, and vehicle-specific glass specifications. Every member of our team has been trained to international certification standard - not to local auto shop convention.

Sumon Ahmed - Founder & Head Specialist

Kuwait Certified · Glass Mechanix Authorized · Est. 2004

Sumon Ahmed's career in windshield repair spans over 20 years, beginning with professional training in Kuwait under internationally certified auto glass specialists working within the Gulf Cooperation Council vehicle service network. The training covered optical-grade resin chemistry, vacuum injection technique, UV photopolymerisation, glass structure and failure modes, and BRTA-equivalent fitness inspection standards.

Returning to Bangladesh with Kuwait certification and a Glass Mechanix professional repair system, Sumon launched New Addin Auto Glass Repairing in 2004 with a single mission: give Bangladeshi vehicle owners honest access to the same repair technology that drivers in Japan, Kuwait, the UK, and Australia take for granted.

With 20+ years of field experience, Sumon remains hands-on in the workshop daily - personally performing complex repairs, training new technicians, and maintaining the quality standard that underpins every repair we issue a Lifetime Warranty on. Every repair protocol used by the team was developed and refined by Sumon based on Glass Mechanix specifications and the business's own 12,000-repair experience base.

Fahim Hasan - Managing Director

Strategic Leader · Insurance Partnerships · Lead Generation

Our Managing Director oversees the business development, corporate client management, and partnership strategy of New Addin Auto Glass Repairing. In a market where most auto glass repair businesses operate purely as walk-in services, our MD has built a structured approach to corporate fleet accounts, insurance company partnerships, and lead generation that keeps our workshop at consistent capacity.

The MD manages relationships with corporate vehicle fleets - car import companies, ride-sharing aggregators, NGO vehicle pools, and government vehicle operators - providing documented fleet repair records, volume pricing structures, and BRTA-ready repair certification for every fleet vehicle. This corporate account portfolio provides approximately 35% of our total repair volume.

The MD also leads our insurance company partnership programme - an initiative to integrate New Addin Auto Glass Repairing as a preferred repair provider within Bangladeshi motor insurance policies, enabling policyholders to access professional repair as a covered claim option rather than the default replacement-only model currently offered by most insurers.

Nasir - Senior Technician

20+ Years Experience · Glass Mechanix Certified · Complex Repairs

Nasir joined New Addin Auto Glass Repairing in 2016 and has been the lead technician for complex repairs ever since. With over 20 years of hands-on auto glass experience and Glass Mechanix injection expertise, alongside an estimated 6,000+ individual repairs performed at our workshop, Nasir is one of the most experienced windshield repair technicians in Bangladesh.

Nasir oversees difficult crack assessments, resin injection precision, and final finish quality inside our Jolshiri Mor workshop. Because professional windshield repair depends on controlled lighting, contamination management, curing equipment, and multiple finishing tools, his work is structured around workshop conditions rather than home-service dispatch.

Multiple customer reviews specifically mention Nasir by name, consistently noting his calm professionalism, clear communication, and the quality of his repair results. He holds Glass Mechanix technician certification and undergoes annual skills refresher training under our founder's supervision.

Razzak Mia - Master Technician

25+ Years Experience · Kuwait-Trained · Spider & Deep Impact Repairs

Razzak Mia is one of the most senior hands in our workshop and one of the most experienced windshield repair specialists on the team. With more than 25 years of specialist field experience and overseas Kuwait training exposure, he is trusted with advanced spider-web crack patterns, deep impact repairs, and difficult glass recovery cases where precision matters most.

His strength lies in reading damage patterns that many general auto glass shops misjudge. That includes identifying when a spider crack is still repairable, how deep the impact cone has travelled inside the laminate, and how to stabilise multiple radiating legs before they continue to spread under vibration and heat.

Inside our workshop, Razzak regularly handles premium and high-risk jobs where visual finish, crack control, and resin penetration quality must all be managed together. His role is especially important for complex repairs where preserving the original windshield is still possible but only with disciplined technique.

Shahin Alam - Advanced Repair Technician

22+ Years Experience · Optical Finish · Premium Vehicle Glass

Shahin Alam focuses on the advanced end of windshield repair where optical finish quality becomes just as important as structural recovery. With more than 22 years of repair experience, he works on jobs that demand cleaner clarity, disciplined resin control, and a more refined finish for owners of Japanese premium imports and higher-end vehicles.

His repair workflow places strong emphasis on vacuum consistency, contamination control, and post-cure finishing. That matters because a repair that technically holds but leaves cloudy visual distortion is not good enough for the standard we promise customers. Shahin helps maintain the cleaner visual result that customers expect from a premium workshop-based repair service.

He is also one of the team members relied on for difficult judgement calls around driver line-of-sight clarity, final polishing balance, and whether a repaired area is ready for QA clearance or needs another controlled finishing pass before release.

Alamgir Hossain - Quality Assurance & Certification

Post-Repair Testing · Warranty Issuance · BRTA Compliance

Every repair performed at New Addin Auto Glass Repairing passes through a dedicated Quality Assurance stage before the customer receives their vehicle back. Our QA process is not a cursory visual check - it is a structured post-repair assessment covering optical clarity measurement, surface level verification, edge seal inspection, and BRTA compliance confirmation.

The QA stage uses a polarised light optical tester to quantify the clarity of the repaired area in the driver's forward vision zone. If the clarity measurement falls below our internal BRTA compliance threshold, the repair is returned to the injection technician for additional treatment before passing QA. Fewer than 1% of repairs require this step - but the protocol exists for every single repair, regardless of how straightforward it appeared during injection.

After QA clearance, the warranty certificate is issued - documenting the repair type, date, resin specification, optical clarity measurement result, and our BRTA Fitness Compliance declaration. This documentation is the customer's proof of repair quality and the basis for any future Lifetime Warranty claim.

Our Training Standard

Every technician at New Addin Auto Glass Repairing is trained directly by our founder to the Glass Mechanix certification standard before performing any customer repairs. Training covers crack physics, glass laminate structure, resin chemistry, vacuum injection technique, UV cure science, surface finishing, and optical quality measurement.

New technicians perform supervised practice repairs on removed windshield glass (salvaged units) for a minimum of 40 hours before their first customer repair. Their first 100 customer repairs are performed under senior technician supervision, with post-repair QA reviewed by the founder. Only after this supervised period do technicians operate independently.

This training protocol means that the quality of a repair from our most junior technician is consistent with the quality of a repair from our most senior technician - because both are operating to the same Glass Mechanix specification, using the same equipment, and passing through the same QA process.
