Our Repair-First Business Model - Why It Guarantees Unbiased Advice

The single most important thing to understand about our pricing is the business model behind it. New Addin Auto Glass Repairing earns revenue from repairs. We do not sell replacement glass. We do not have a commercial relationship with any glass importer, dealer, or supplier that would create an incentive to recommend replacement.

This means that when we assess your windshield, we have no financial reason to recommend anything other than what's genuinely best for your vehicle. If your windshield can be repaired, we repair it and earn Tk 2,000-4,000. If it genuinely cannot be repaired, we tell you clearly, explain why, and refer you to a trusted glass supplier - from which we receive no revenue or commission.

Our motto is repair first. Our business depends on repair being the right answer most of the time - and it is, in approximately 82% of cases we assess. The 18% of cases where we recommend replacement are cases where replacement is genuinely the only safe option. We have no reason to misrepresent either direction.

How Prices Are Determined - The Two Variables

Our repair pricing depends on exactly two factors: the type of crack and its size. That's it. We don't charge differently for different car brands, different customer locations (within Dhaka), different glass ages, or different time slots.

What Is Included in Every Repair Price

Every price above covers a complete repair process - there are no add-ons, no extras, no charges for anything on this list.

What Is Never Added to Your Bill

We want to be explicit about what we do not charge for, because these are common hidden-charge traps at other auto service providers.

• Assessment or consultation fee - zero. Assessing your windshield is part of the service.
• Material charges - the Glass Mechanix resin, UV cure, and polish are included in the price.
• Complexity surcharge - a crack quoted at Tk 2,500 does not become Tk 3,500 after we start.
• Cancellation fee - if after assessment we determine the crack is not repairable, you owe us nothing.
• BRTA certificate fee - the warranty and BRTA declaration documents are included.
• Travel or home-service charge - we do not offer mobile repair, so every price is for workshop service only.

When We Recommend Replacement - And How We Say It

Approximately 18% of windshields we assess cannot be repaired and require full replacement. When this is the case, we tell the customer directly and specifically: the crack is X cm long and has reached the edge, which compromises the glass-to-frame seal; or moisture has infiltrated the PVB interlayer - visible as a cloudy haze - and the glass requires replacement.

We do not charge for the assessment in these cases. We provide a written note of our assessment findings that the customer can take to any glass supplier. We recommend what to ask for (OEM-specification glass, not just "Japanese glass"), what to verify (brand, thickness, interlayer specification), and what to avoid (anonymous Chinese aftermarket glass with no brand documentation).

We do not earn any money from this referral. The 18% of cases where we recommend replacement represent the cases where we make zero revenue - but where providing an honest assessment is the right thing for the customer and the only thing consistent with our repair-first principles.

Payment Methods Accepted

Payment is taken after the repair is completed and you are satisfied with the result. We do not take any advance payment.
